Creativity– it’s about making stuff, right?
Nope. It’s not about the art. It’s not about the stuff we make. Yes, I get it– the stuff can be really amazing–and gorgeous and interesting etc. But that’s not really why we do it– and it’s not why we need to do more of it–lots more.
We long for something else. And that’s exactly as it should be.
In my video today, I talk about what creativity’s really about– and the real reason the world needs your work. And make no mistake, your world absolutely needs your work–your soul work–the work that you long to do.

Great video. It is easy to get lost in the product rather than the process. Thanks for reminding me of that. What is something that lights me up? Anything I can do with my hands…especially gardening, sewing and knitting.
