I’ve never gone REALLY haywire with money. (although I used to be afraid I’d go wild if I ever had with a lots of it!)
But I have let fears and old money stories get in the way of having the life and experiences I truly wanted (usually without even realizing it!) I share a High Voltage Money Haywire story from when I was just 19 in today’s video:

I like your story–and can relate! Like you, at age 19 I came into some money–an insurance settlement from a car accident. Everyone warned me to make it last–and I have (for over 25 years now)–but I have viewed it as a pot of dough that would eventually run out, and that was the source of my security, one I needed to grasp onto tightly. Your video makes me want to move into a new mindset, where I lean into a belief that I can create new money, and do not have to feel limited to what I already, currently have. I can be creative–including money-wise! Thank you for helping me to see this mindpath.
So great to hear from you, Meredith! It can be so hard to talk about these things–especially when it feels “taboo” to talk about having come into a “pot of money” 🙂
Money is some of the best “art supplies” ever! And the beauty of it is that money can be used to create more money — a flow in, instead of just a flow OUT as we so often think about it.
