When you’re out and about with your journal, it’s always fun to draw your lunch–especially if it’s a memorable one.
Here’s my quick rendition of Pacha Cafe’s delicious Quiche Lorraine (with a side of equally delicious sautéed spinach) Heavenly!
Draw your own lunch (whether at home or out in the world. If your lunch is lame, draw the one you wish you had.
Then post your journal pictures to the Creative Life Spark facebook page www.facebook.com/CreativeLifeSpark.
Buon Appetitio
and happy journaling!
You certainly have reason to draw that lunch! Pacha has amazing food.
I love the drawing. Are you using colored pencils and pen? I often snap a picture of my lunch with my iPhone. This is one step more interactive. Thanks, Katherine.
Let’s see… what’s left of the “quiche” is pen and colored pencil. the fork and cup are found oblects. The “snowflake” design that acts as a plate is a “resist print” made from laying a metal Xmas ornament down, misting the paper with food coloring in mini-spray bottles and then removing the oranament. (I did that part in a previous creative session, mind you–not at lunch in the cafe) 🙂 BTW I tweak all my photos with an iphone app I love called camera+. I can apply, filters, flash and more right there on my phone! Thanks for commenting!
